AM-204: Advanced WLAN Design and Site Survey

Who Should Attend? Those that want to learn how to design effective Wireless LANs — including WLANs for Voice and Data. Learn to use AirMagnet Planner, AirMagnet Survey, and AirMagnet Spectrum Analysis.
Overview: The goal of this course is to provide advanced training and live testing of WLAN Design and Site Survey techniques. Designed to meet the needs of Wireless LAN designers to use the latest tools in the design, and implementation of WLANs in real-world situations meeting the complex needs of Data, Voice over WiFi. We will be using AirMagnet Planner, Survey and Spectrum Analyzer to help take WLAN design to the next level.

This course concludes with a large, live site survey and analysis exam/exercise - from initial design, through predictive analysis, outdoor and indoor surveys, spectrum analysis, and compliance reporting. This extensive class project serves as the AirMagnet Certified Design Expert Exam.

Prerequisites: AM-103 or CWNA and experience with AirMagnet Survey
Course Equipment: Please bring your laptop with PCMCIA slot - and a 9-pin serial port or USB'Serial adapter.

AirMagnet Academy Cancellation Policy:
Persons looking to cancel their attendance of an AirMagnet Academy class are subject to the following terms and conditions. Registrants who cancel ten (10) business days before the course will be entitled the full refund. Class registrants who cancel between five (5) and nine (9) business days before the course will receive a 50% refund of the course fee. Registrants who cancel less than five (5) business days before the course are not entitled to a refund.
 
All cancellations are required to be in writing and notified to an AirMagnet representative. AirMagnet reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any course if necessary.
