AirMagnet Offers First "Expert" Certification for Wireless LAN Design and Site Survey
SUNNYVALE, Calif., Nov 07, 2007 — AirMagnet Inc., the leader in security, performance and compliance solutions for wireless LANs, today announced a new course to its AirMagnet Academy professional training portfolio that will allow students to receive expert certification for wireless LAN design and site survey. The first session of classes will take place Nov. 26 to 28 in Dallas.
This new three-day hands-on class will provide students with advanced training and live testing techniques for WLAN design and site surveys. The class was created to help IT professionals learn how to use cutting edge tools for the design and implementation of WLAN networks, while still meeting the complex and sometimes difficult needs of unique application scenarios, such as high-performance data or voice-over-WLAN. Students will have the opportunity to use the award-winning AirMagnet Planner, AirMagnet Survey and AirMagnet Spectrum Analyzer to help take WLAN design to the next level. At the end of the course, students will be given an outside classroom project, which when successfully completed, will earn them the title of an "AirMagnet Certified Design Expert."
