AirMagnet Helps Certified Trainers Teach Key Wireless LAN Fundamentals
SUNNYVALE, Calif., Aug 07, 2007 — AirMagnet Inc., the leader in security, performance and compliance solutions for wireless LANs, today announced the AirMagnet CWNP Training Partner Program. Through the program, Certified Wireless Network Professional trainers can utilize AirMagnet solutions for instructing students on wireless LAN fundamentals, including planning and design, deployment and troubleshooting, and security assessment and risk mitigation.
The Certified Wireless Network Professional (CWNP) Program is the industry standard for wireless LAN training and certification. IT professionals in 106 countries have achieved CWNP certifications in how to make wireless LANs more secure, cost-effective and reliable. The program was created by Planet3 Wireless Inc. in Atlanta.
The AirMagnet program encourages the use of the company's solutions, by providing CWNP Certified Learning Partners incentives to use AirMagnet equipment on which they can base training. Students who participate and complete the training programs also have the ability to purchase select AirMagnet products at a discounted rate. The program currently has more than 30 active training partners serving classrooms across the United States.
