- Maintenance and enhancement of existing features.
- Employ technical expertise in helping team members overcome technical problems.
- Participate and be actively involved in the team during all phases of the project.
- Work with QA/Technical Support and/or Outsourcing teams.
- Adhere to release/project schedule and milestones.
Job Requirements:
- Overall 5+ years of professional experience
- 3+ years experience in developing Windows drivers
- Working knowledge of IEEE 802.11 and related technologies preferred
- Familarity with application methodologies using MFC, C/C++, VC
- Working knowledge and experience with Linux a plus
- Quick learner; Detail oriented and follow through on issues and tasks
- Good communication skills and work well in team environment as well as independently

Key member of a growing Customer Support center for AirMagnet Wireless LAN security appliance. Will initially provide all levels of support for AirMagnet's products. As more products are deployed and product offerings expand, qualified TSE's will have the opportunity to grow with the company and assume roles of increasing responsibility in the Customer Support Center - as well as acquire and maintain a thorough knowledge of AirMagnet's products and their application.
Specific Accountabilities:
- Assist customers with problem definition and resolution with AirMagnet products.
- Keep reliable records of all customer calls, problems, and resolutions.
- Monitor deployed systems and collect performance data.
Desirable Experience:
- 2+ years experience in a customer or technical support position required.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to effectively provide customer service.
- Ability to effectively explain complicated technical information to people with less technical knowledge.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently, effectively leveraging provided tools.
- Ability to effectively document issues and resolutions.
- Ability to work with QA and Engineering to solve customer issues in a timely manner.
- Knowledge of how WLAN security systems and protocols work is a plus.
- Knowledge of network configuration and components (firewalls, routers, etc.). Networking experience is a plus.
